Through the COVID-19 Pandemic, the United States has truly been challenged with many hardships affecting our quality of life, healthcare and economy. In this timely report, titled, Community Health and Economic Prosperity: Engaging Businesses as Stewards and Stakeholders- A Report of the Surgeon General, raises awareness of the current state of health in our nation.  This report raises the issues of health disadvantages that individuals face and how business leaders can engage, respond and reinvest in their locally burdened communities. With fourteen detailed best practices and recommendations to follow, we are clearly guided to understand why and how the health of our economy is intrinsically tied to the health of our communities and how we can best align our organizations to create and bring much needed value through their continued support and contributions.
